“Loving him was red . . . Burning red”
~ Taylor Swift
Bold color, glitz and glam it’s all here! I love working with this talented team of creatives, the results are always spectacularly beautiful and inspiring.
With the color palette and mood board for this shoot, the cake needed to be bold and impactful, so I simply had to go all in and make it red. The cake stands tall and elegant and certainly makes a statement! Grounded at the bottom by tailored ruffles accented with gold beading. I kept the middle tier monotone but added subtle texture for visual interest and again accented it with the same beading. Then to balance the gold at the base and bring in the required amount of glitz, the top of the cake was finished with gorgeously rich sparkling gold (edible) glitter. Who said wedding cakes have to be white?… not me!
